My Bad ...

June 5, 2009

Every time I start write this blog, I get caught up with the photographs on my Website. Perhaps that's because I can't wait for my first digital photography book to be published by Scholastic. But wait I must, at least until October.

The book, Beautiful Ballerina, was written by Marilyn Nelson, photographed by you-know-who, with four talented dancers from the school of the Dance Theatre of Harlem.

"Show don't tell" is better. To see what went into the making of the book. Click onto Beautiful Ballerina on the left hand side of this site and see what went into the making of this book.

Speaking of beautiful ballerinas, I'm about to leave for Dance Theatre of Harlem's studio. My four ballerinas are in the spring recital. I haven't seen these gals in months. I hope they remember me.

Wow, the photos (and dancers!) are beautiful, and it's wonderful to see some of the behind-the-scenes shots. I can't wait to see the finished book.
